MAC’s Pre-Conditioning Sessions – Marching Band

Students will attend biweekly training sessions that focus on all components of fitness, preparing them for the upcoming marching season and avoiding the summer slide. Coaches will take students through training sessions focusing on improving strength and endurance of the primary muscle groups using MAC’s specialty studio and incorporating TRX, kettle bell, battle rope training and more. Coaches will work on improving students’ cardiovascular fitness by leading participants through interval training sessions on MAC’s rowers and Skillmills. Each session will end with flexibility and core training, completing an all around fitness regimen that will improve overall marching performance

Medical Release Form will be required


2:00-3:30 p.m. Tuesday/Thursday starting June 5th for 6 weeks


$175 per student for 6 weeks OR $20 for drop-in session

Florida Institute of Technology Head Strength and Conditioning Coach

Born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana where he developed the love for strength and conditioning after graduating from St. Josephs College where he played four years of collegiate football.  Earned a master’s in exercise science from Indiana State University.  Moved to Berkeley, California where he studied Traditional Chinese Medicine.  Eight years of experience as a certified strength and conditioning specialist.  Experience coaching skills in football, basketball, track and field events.  Previously coached strength and conditioning at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Terre Haute Rex colligate baseball travel team.  Currently head strength and conditioning coach at Florida Institute of Technology.
