Andrea F.

With 20+ years of experience as a Personal Trainer, Andrea Furnari proves that training is not just a job, but is truly her passion and calling in life. Andrea has worked with a wide variety of clientele, such as local high school and college teams for sport specific training, NPC Figure competitors, post-surgical and post-rehab patients, and everyone in between. Each program is designed to address each client’s specific goals and/ or physical limitations and needs. When not in the gym, Andrea will likely be found on the tennis court, or anywhere outdoors.

 

 

 

Joey H.

Joey Helme is a Personal Trainer whose passion for fitness began when he was a child suffering from a variety of health issues which led to a sedentary lifestyle. Joey’s father, also a Personal Trainer, trained with him, exemplifying the positive impact physical fitness can have on one’s health. Joey overcame his health issues and competed in multiple high school sports. Joey’s background gives him a unique perspective when training his clients, formatting simple, challenging sessions with an emphasis on proper form and mobility, all in a positive, energetic environment. Specializing in general fitness, weight loss, increased muscle mass, nutrition coaching, group fitness, sport-specific training, and wedding dress ready programs, Joey is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Sports Performance Specialist, and ISSA Fitness Nutrition Certified.

 

Julie T.

Julie Turi has been in the Health and Fitness industry full time for 25 years; from competing in body building to private and corporate training.  Her broad experience ranges from Prenatal Training all the way to Senior Fitness training.  She is passionate about helping clients reach they’re health and fitness goals.  Her specialties also include golf specific training, cancer exercise specialist, fitness nutrition, youth and family training, and balance and core training.  Julie is NASM, AFAA, CPR and AED certified and is also insured.

 

 

 

Sean H.

Sean Hamelin, a 2006 graduate of FSU, with a Bachelor of Science in Human Sciences, brought several years of Personal Training experience when he helped to open the doors at the MAC in July of 2017. Sean’s passion for the fitness industry, coupled with his desire to help others to achieve their health and wellness goals, has resulted in success for the clients he trains. Sean is a fiercely dedicated father, who stays active when not in the gym by surfing, practicing yoga, and playing a round of golf. Sean’s focus with his clients is to empower them through movement and fitness while improving their quality of life.

 

 

 

Penny U.

Penny Uzzetta holds a Nutrition Certification, Personal Trainer Certification, and Orthopedic Certification from ISSA and ACE. She is currently working towards a Masters in Sports and Health Sciences. Her future plans in fitness are to continue on to receive a Doctorate in Exercise Science. She understands the challenges with losing weight, building muscle, and maintenance; with her highest weight once being 203 lbs. With her knowledge and experience in fat loss and muscle building, she loves to help people achieve their fitness goals.  

 

Zach K.

Zach Kabboord is a passionate and dedicated trainer who works to improve his craft daily. He is a black belt in Shorin-Ryu karate and has trained in, and taught the martial arts for over 2 decades. He has earned his personal fitness training, and sports nutrition certifications, through the International Sports Science Association. His primary focus is to help people become self-aware of the way they move, working on functional movements and creating symmetrical Efficiency throughout the body to help reduce pain or strain in exercise, promote healthy movement patterns and habits, and prevent unwanted injuries. Zach is excited to work with any new clients who are willing to work hard and push themselves to make positive life changes.
